According to St. Anselm College’s Institute of Politics presidential poll, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul is polling at 7.4% in New Hampshire and in fourth place behind Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani, and John McCain. Paul leads Fred Thompson in the state.

Supporters say the poll may indicate that Paul is gaining momentum in New Hampshire.

“By all accounts, Dr. Paul’s support is rising steadily,” said Paul campaign chairman Kent Snyder. “Americans are ready for a change and his unifying message of freedom, peace and prosperity is bringing more people together every day.”
