Reform the LP
I had posted a rather long essay about America's need for a viable third party that embodies both personal and economic freedom, but apparently I managed to delete it this morning. So I will summarize. The Libertarian Reform Caucus is an effort by moderate Libertarians (such as myself) to rewrite the party platform and change the pledge and membership structure so that our ideas are more relevant and practical to the majority of voters. These goals seem consistent with recent moves by the national party to support the efforts to kill the death tax and get out of Iraq, both positions favored by a majority of Americans and still consistent with party principles. You need not be a Libertarian to participate, just a freedom loving American. - F2S
